Bye 2015!

10:03 AM
With 2015 drawing to an end...thought I do a review to count my blessings! Incredibly blessed this year despite the hiccups that happened along the way...I mean, what is a year without hurdles anyway?  2015 marked my second year as a wife and marriage is still not the easiest journey to undertake. Planning for the wedding was fun, getting married was tiring and...

Christmas 2015!

2:29 PM
Christmas came and went, my favouritest season of the year...and even without travel plans, this special holiday was still plenty of fun and food! The earliest of xmas feasts somewhere in mid december...the highlight had to be the mom's turkey, one recipe that is a definite keeper. On point and so tasty, and that seafood chowder!? Wish I had space for so much...

Dehumidifiers on Qoo10

9:47 PM
Since moving into the humble abode, we have been plagued by a nasty bout of air moisture - it was ridiculously moist to the extent that my bags started moulding. Not fun at all considering how I never ever had an issue with that and seeing the prized babies being eaten by furry patches was by no means fun. Bag spa? I tried...

Who Am I

11:01 AM
November seemed to fly by so fast and rightfully this is the time of the year that I look forward to most. Somehow, this year brought alot of reflection as the year draws to a close. Particularly pensive somewhat...but this has been a single song that has been on repeat mode for awhile now and kept us believing. It was one of those...

What time is it?

12:00 PM
Since the early days of being able to tell time, I probably started my obsession with the instrument I can tell time with – watches. At some point, clock watches were the fad with movies and even dramas featuring them every now and then.  The first watch If memory did not fail me, it was either a Swatch or one of those plastic...

October is a month of birthdays

3:54 PM
February and October are two months in a year that my family celebrates birthdays. My dad and I and my Mom and sis. Against her wishes, we insisted on giving the Mom a birthday bouquet this year, a properly wrapped one! Roses and carnations just so the Dad would not "forget" how different they are. There was a single birthday that went by...

Zokupops

2:59 PM
Homemade popsicles was a bandwagon that I was definitely hopping on after all the weekly stashes of icecreams that we had been carting home and it reached a point of - so which flavour should we eat next? We are a family of icecream chugsters and having a family over means 1.5 tubs of icecream gone or better still, a box polished off...

Christian Grey

2:34 PM
I never quite thought I'd end up counting our milestones by month...not that marriage has gotten any less exciting or fun as started out but we have to admit, reality does bring us to ground zero and fairytales somehow-along-the-way have ceased to exist. Today marks our 20th month of <strike> blessed </strike> <strike> happy </strike> <strike> ok, wonderful </strike> union, on good days...

Bookshop hopping

10:00 AM
Hubba introduced me to this bookstore, one that is unlike the MPHs and Opentrolley.com's...this stored a whole wealth of reading material for christian growth. Growing up, I relied alot on Sunday School and cellgroup to provide me with supplements and this has to be a haven! Tons of books though not all titles on amazon.com can be found here...better than none mesays and...

Maldives: Worthy of a second honeymoon

11:19 AM
An over due entry on Maldives...it's ALREADY September. Before I go into where did the whole month go, let me bring myself back to paradise. From Singapore to Maldives, there are two flight options - one by SQ and the other by Tiger Air. There was a good deal by SQ so off we were on our national carrier reaching slightly short of...
